Roots Music Festival 2016

Come and listen to the sounds of summer at Roots Music Festival in support of Teenage Cancer Trust on Sunday 17th July at the Mitchells Centre for Art and Craft.

Following the success of last years Mitchells Music Day, this year the Roots Festival fires up from 12 noon and runs until dusk, around 8pm.

Set against the backdrop of beautiful countryside, the chilled live music will feature over fifteen different bands and solo artists, from classical guitar to folk rock, including award winning song writer Ben Drummond and Radio 2 favourites Tess of The Circle.

All donations on the day will go to the Teenage Cancer Trust. Around seven young people between the ages of 13 and 24 are diagnosed with cancer everyday in the UK. They need expert treatment and support from the moment the word 'cancer' is mentioned. The Teenage Cancer Trust is the only charity dedicated to making this happen.

With great music, a bar and food available, plus plenty of free parking, what's not to like? So come and join us for some great music at the Roots Festival, Mitchells Centre, Weeford Road, Sutton Coldfield B75 6NA. Just bring a rug (or seating of choice), chill out and support a great cause.
